Yunus Emre Institute for Turkish Language Opens Admission for 2024

The Yunus Emre Institute, dedicated to the promotion of Turkish language and culture, has announced the commencement of admissions for the Turkish language course in 2024. This initiative, in collaboration with the University of Karachi, aims to provide individuals with an opportunity to learn Turkish, facilitated by experienced Turkish teachers qualified from the Republic of Türkiye. The course, spanning over one year and divided into two semesters, offers morning, evening, and weekend classes to accommodate diverse schedules.

Admission Requirements and Class Details

The program welcomes individuals with varying educational backgrounds. For morning and evening classes, applicants must have an intermediate qualification with a second division 45% marks, while for weekend classes, a matriculation or intermediate with a second division is required. The classes are scheduled as follows:

Morning Classes: 09:00 am to 04:00 pm Monday to Thursday

Evening Classes: 04:00 pm to 07:00 pm Monday to Wednesday

Weekend Classes: 02:00 pm to 05:00 pm Saturday and Sunday

Course Fees and Application Process

The fees for the course vary based on the timing of classes:

Morning Classes: Rs. 2,000 per semester

Evening Classes: Rs. 3,000 per semester

Weekend Classes: Rs. 5,000 per semester

Additionally, a non-refundable admission fee of Rs. 2,000 is applicable. Interested candidates can obtain and submit the application form along with the required documents from the UBL Bank at the University Campus Branch from February 19th, 2024, to February 23rd, 2024. For further details, applicants can contact the Directorate of Admissions at the University of Karachi between 09:00 am to 04:00 pm on payment of Rs. 200.
