UOK Admissions Open for Postgraduate Programs Session 2025-26
The University of Karachi UOK has announced the admissions schedule for MS, MPhil, and PhD programs in Economics for the academic year 2025-26. Interested candidates can apply for the MS Master of Science, MPhil Master of Philosophy, and PhD Doctor of Philosophy programs at the Applied Economics Research Centre AERC.
Eligibility Criteria for UOK Admissions 2025:
For the PhD program, candidates must have an MPhil degree in Economics from an HEC recognized university or an equivalent degree from a reputed foreign institution. For MS/MPhil programs, applicants should have sixteen years of education in any related discipline, with a minimum of second division from an HEC recognized institution. Equivalence certificates are required for degrees from institutions other than public sector universities of Pakistan.
All candidates must qualify for an admission test, and scores from the GAT Subject or GRE Advanced Economics may be accepted in place of the test.
Important Dates for UOK Admissions 2025:
Application Deadline: January 13, 2025
Admission Test: January 28, 2025
Interviews: February 03, 2025
Candidates can apply online through the UOK website. Additionally, the UOK Fee Schedule 2025 and other important UOK courses 2025 will be available on the official website. Scholarships may be offered based on academic performance and financial need.
