University of Karachi MAS MPhil PhD Admissions 2024
The University of Karachi UOK is inviting applications for admission to its prestigious MAS/MPhil and PhD programs for the academic year 2024-25. The Applied Economics Research Centre AERC, an institution of national capability in applied economics, plays a pivotal role in shaping the academic landscape at UOK Admission 2024. The admission process is meticulously designed, adhering to the principles of equal opportunity and pure merit.
The eligibility criteria for the PhD program require candidates to hold an MPhil degree in Economics from an HEC recognized university or an equivalent degree from a reputed foreign institution, duly certified by the University of Karachi. For the UOK MAS/MPhil program 2024, a 16-year education in any discipline or a related equivalent degree from an HEC-recognized university or institution is necessary. Candidates with degrees from non-Pakistani universities must provide an equivalence certificate from the University of Karachi Admission 2024.
Applicants awaiting final exam results can apply at their own risk, provided they submit their transcripts before the commencement of the second quarter. The admission process includes a rigorous test, and candidates can use GAT Subject conducted by NTS or GRE Advanced Economics scores from the last two years in lieu of the test.
The application deadline is January 22, 2024, with the admission test scheduled for January 29, 2024, at the AERC premises in Karachi. Candidates from other cities are advised to take the AERC online admission test on the same date and timing.
Scholarships are available based on academic performance and financial needs, providing support to deserving students. To apply, candidates must submit a completed application form, available on the AERC website or from the Graduate Studies Programme Office, along with the required fee by January 22, 2024.
