Eligibility Criteria

For Ph.D. Admissions:

Candidates must have at least 18 years of education with qualifications in MBBS/BDS/BS Allied Health Sciences.

A relevant M.Phil./Master/FCPS or equivalent qualification recognized by HEC or the concerned Federal Regulatory Authority.

For M.Phil. Admissions:

Eligibility varies depending on the field of study:

a. MBBS and BDS degrees for Medical and Dental Sciences.

b. BSc Hons. or MSc in the relevant subject for Allied Health Sciences.

A minimum CGPA of 3.0 out of 4.0 in the semester system or First Division in the annual system for the most recent relevant degree.

Qualifying scores in the Admission Test for M.Phil. with a minimum of 50%.

Two years of relevant experience.

Admission Test

The University conducts subject-based admission tests for both Ph.D. and M.Phil. programs. The Ph.D. Admission Test takes place on November 19, 2023, with a pass mark of 60%. The M.Phil. Admission Test is held on the same date, with a pass mark of 50%. It consists of multiple-choice questions covering areas such as computer/I.T. skills, English, research methodology, and analytical reasoning.

The application process involves creating an account, selecting the desired degree program and discipline, filling in personal and qualification details, uploading required documents, acknowledging the undertaking, and submitting the application. A non-refundable Admission Processing Fee of Rs. 7,000 must be paid at a Bank of Punjab branch or through online banking to complete the process.

Admission to UHS is granted based on merit, and the criteria for Ph.D. and M.Phil. differ as follows:
