University of Engineering and Technology Announces 2025 Entry Test Updates
The University of Engineering and Technology UET has extended the registration date for the entry test by one day, setting the new deadline as March 4, 2025. This extension accommodates students applying for undergraduate programs via the ECAT, prompted by recent bank holidays. Registration for the mandatory entry test, required for admission to all public and private engineering universities in Punjab, is now open until this date.
Candidates can submit the fee online through UBL and HBL, with a token number obtainable for 2500 rupees via HBL Online Banking, HBL KONNECT, or UBL Online Banking. Failure to appear for the entry test disqualifies applicants from admission to any engineering institution in Punjab. The University of Engineering and Technology has scheduled this year’s ECAT from March 17 to 21, 2025, with results to be announced on March 28, 2025.

This extension provides a crucial opportunity for aspiring engineers to secure their chance at a top-tier education.
