University of Child Health Sciences, Lahore Launches 1st Certificate Course in Health Professions Education open admission fro spring 2024

The University of Child Health Sciences UCHS, located in Lahore, Pakistan, is introducing its inaugural Certificate Course in Health Professions Education CHPE. This pioneering initiative aims to enhance the pedagogical skills of healthcare professionals across various disciplines. The course, spanning six months, promises a comprehensive curriculum delivered by esteemed faculty members of the Department of Medical Education at UCHS.

Course Overview:

The CHPE course is structured into four modules, each consisting of two-day contact sessions. These sessions are designed to accommodate the busy schedules of healthcare professionals, providing flexibility without compromising the depth of learning. Participants will delve into various aspects of health professions education, including teaching methodologies, curriculum development, assessment strategies, and educational leadership.

Duration: 6 months, comprising 4 modules

Application Procedure: Interested candidates can download the application form from the universitys The completed form, along with the necessary documents and a non-refundable pay order or demand draft of PKR 2,000, must be submitted to the Registrars Office by the specified deadline.

Course Fee: PKR 50,000/-

Application Deadline: 15th February 2024

Eligibility Criteria:

Graduation from a recognized Medical University/College, with a degree in Medical, Dental, Paramedics, Nursing, or Allied Health Professions.

Valid registration as a practitioner.

Preference will be given to faculty members of UCHS.

MBBS/DDS/Bachelor Degree Certificate

CNIC National Identity Card

Valid Registration Certificate

Experience Certificate

Original Pay Order/Demand Draft of PKR 2,000 non-refundable

NOC No Objection Certificate from the respective Head of Department for government employees.
