UET Peshawar Unveils Schedule for ETEA Engineering Entry Test 2024

University of Engineering and Technology UET, Peshawar, has officially released the schedule for the ETEA Engineering Entry Test 2024. This test is a prerequisite for candidates aspiring to enroll in engineering programs at both public and private sector universities and colleges within Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. The Educational Testing and Evaluation Agency ETEA will administer this centralized test. The deadline for registration for the UET Peshawar ETEA test is June 28, 2024. ETEA Engineering Entry Test Dates

The ETEA Engineering Entry Test is scheduled for July 7, 2024. In accordance with the policy set forth by the Pakistan Engineering Council PEC, two separate tests will be conducted, with the better score being considered for admission purposes. The registration for the second ETEA test will commence on July 8, 2024.

Application Procedure for ETEA Engineering Entry Test 2024

Prospective candidates are required to complete the online application form available at https://etea.edu.pk. A non-refundable fee of Rs. 1000/- per test must be paid. Roll number slips will be issued one week prior to each test. Following the announcement of the test results, candidates must submit an online admission form according to the respective universities admission schedules.

ETEA Eligibility Criteria 2024

Eligibility for the ETEA test requires candidates to have passed the Intermediate Pre-Engineering/Computer Science or Pre-Medical with additional Mathematics examination from a recognized Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education BISE in Pakistan or an equivalent examination with at least 60% unadjusted marks in Physics, Mathematics, and Chemistry/Computer Science. Candidates with a three-year post-matric Diploma of Associate Engineer DAE or B-Tech with at least 60% unadjusted marks are also eligible. Those who have passed the Intermediate Pre-Medical examination and obtained at least 60% unadjusted marks can apply only for Bio-Engineering or Bio-Medical Engineering programs. Result-awaiting candidates may provisionally appear in the Entrance Test.

ETEA Engineering Test Paper Pattern 2024

The test will comprise 100 multiple-choice questions MCQs with no negative marking. The passing score is set at 33%.

For Pre-Engineering & DAE/B-Tech/Pre-Medical with Additional Mathematics Candidates:

Physics: 40 questions

Mathematics: 35 questions

English: 15 questions

Chemistry/Computer Science: 10 questions

For Pre-Medical Candidates Applicable Only for Bio-Engineering or Bio-Medical Engineering Admissions:
