The university, recognized and accredited by the Higher Education Commission HEC, is offering fully funded scholarships under the "Climate Change and Mountain Agriculture Scholarship Scheme" for the B.Sc. Hons Agriculture program for the session 2023-27.

Scholarship Details

The scholarships cater to students specializing in five major disciplines within agriculture:

Food Science and Technology

Entomology

Plant Breeding and Genetics

Horticulture

Soil and Environmental Sciences

These scholarships are available to candidates from specific districts falling within Malakand Division, Hazara Division, and other outlined regions. Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for consideration, applicants must meet the following criteria:

Minimum Marks: Candidates should have secured at least 45% marks in both SSC and HSSC Pre-Medical or Pre-Engineering.

District-Based Scholarships: Two scholarships are reserved for each district, covering tuition fees and a monthly stipend. These scholarships will be awarded based on merit.

Merit Calculation: Merit for admission is determined based on the combined percentage of marks obtained in SSC with a 40% weight and HSSC with a 60% weight.

Application Process

Applicants are required to follow these steps:

Download Application: Obtain the admission form and bank receipt from the Universitys official website: University of Agriculture Swat - Admission Page.

Submission: Complete the application form, attach attested copies of all required documents SSC, HSSC, Domicile, CNIC, and two passport size photographs, and submit them either in person or through courier to The University of Agriculture Swat before the deadline of December 26, 2023.
