Admission Notice: Shaheed Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto Medical University, Islamabad

Shaheed Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto Medical University SZABMU is pleased to announce admissions for the First Year of the Bachelor of Science in Molecular Biology program for the academic year 2024. Eligibility Requirements

To be considered for admission, candidates must meet the following criteria:

Academic Qualifications:

A minimum of 50% marks 550/1100 in F.Sc. Pre-Medical or an A-Level equivalent certified by the Inter-Board Committee of Chairmen IBCC.

Entrance Exam:

A minimum of 50% marks in the SZABMU TEST 2024.

Open Merit:

There are 25 seats available under the open merit category.

It is important to note that applicants who do not meet these eligibility requirements will be unable to submit their online application.

Weightage Formula for Merit Calculation

The merit for admission will be calculated using the following weightage formula:

SSC Science/Equivalence: 15%

F.Sc Pre-Medical HSSC/A-Level/Equivalence: 25%

Entry Test: 60%

Mandatory Documents Required

Candidates must prepare and submit the following documents along with their online application:

Passport-sized photograph with a blue background.

Attested copy of CNIC/B-Form.

Attested copy of SSC Certificate or O-Level Equivalence Certificate issued by IBCC.

Attested copy of HSSC Pre-Medical Certificate or A-Level/12th Grade Equivalence Certificate issued by IBCC.

Attested copy of the candidate’s Domicile Certificate.

Attested copy of the Entry Test Result.

Copy of the paid challan of Rs. 1,000/- non-refundable and non-adjustable.

How to Apply for Registration

Candidates should apply online through the SZABMU portal by creating an account using their CNIC and Email ID.

Generate the fee slip and deposit the application processing fee at any HBL branch.

Submit the online application form along with the fee deposit slip and scanned copies of required documents.

Only shortlisted eligible candidates will be called for an interview. The university reserves the right to increase or decrease the number of seats and to reject any application without providing any reason.

Last Date for Submission of Online Application: October 21, 2024

Display of Merit List: October 23, 2024
