The Sindh Government’s Minorities Department is offering scholarships to students from minority communities pursuing Intermediate, Bachelors, and Masters degrees. Applications must be submitted through the head of the educational institution, as direct applications from students will not be accepted. Scholarships are available for students from higher secondary schools, colleges & universities, following the policies and financial allocations for the 2025 academic year. The eligibility criteria and application process must be strictly followed.

Eligibility Criteria

To qualify for the Sindh Minority Scholarship, applicants must meet the following conditions:
  • The scholarship is only available to minority students enrolled in government institutions.
  • Applicants must have passed their annual examination in the previous year with a minimum of 50% marks. In institutions using a GPA system, an official evaluation sheet is required.
  • The monthly income of the student’s parent/guardian should not exceed Rs. 35,000.

Application Procedure

To apply for the Sindh Government Minority Scholarship, follow these steps:
  • Fill out the prescribed application form and attach an attested copy of the latest mark sheet.

  • Students enrolled in a semester system must submit attested copies of their mark sheets from the last two semesters along with their parent/guardian’s original income certificate.

  • The head of the institution must verify the student’s academic record and financial background before endorsing the application.

  • All submitted documents must be properly attested. Mark sheets on plain paper or non-official templates will not be accepted.

  • Students who are already receiving financial aid, stipends, or scholarships from any other source are not eligible to apply.

Important Guidelines

  • The student’s CNIC or NADRA B-Form number for those under 18 must be clearly written on the form, along with attested copies of the relevant document.

  • It is not necessary to attach a copy of the parent or guardian’s CNIC.

  • Every section of the application form must be carefully completed, including details about the institution and class. Incomplete applications will be rejected.

  • Only students from government institutions are eligible; applications from private institution students will be disqualified at the initial screening stage.

  • Applicants should provide their contact number and email address for communication in case of any queries.

Application Deadline & Submission Rules

  • Applications submitted before the official advertisement or after the closing date will not be considered.

  • Forms from previous years old versions will not be accepted.
