Several districts in Sindh, including Larkana, Khairpur, Dherki, and Ghotki, witnessed the leakage of matriculation exam papers before the scheduled start time, as reported by local media channel on Tuesday. The issue affected a variety of subjects, raising alarms over the fairness and reliability of the examination process. Larkana and Khairpur Face Early Morning Paper Leaks
In Larkana, the Sindhi language paper for ninth-grade students, organized by the BISE Larkana, was leaked in advance. Reports revealed the existence of WhatsApp groups that were being used to circulate answers. Similarly, in Khairpur, the tenth-grade chemistry paper was leaked before the examination began—allegedly around 8:57 am—with students actively sharing solutions through messaging platforms.
Mobile Phones Used Freely Inside Examination Halls
Disturbing reports of misconduct from various exam centers suggested a lack of strict supervision. In some locations, teachers allegedly allowed students—both male and female—to use mobile phones during the exams, facilitating real-time cheating without any checks or repercussions.
Dherki Officials Allegedly Complicit in Cheating Practices
The town of Dherki saw further irregularities, where exam staff at Shah Latif Examination Hall were reportedly involved in aiding students with the tenth-grade chemistry paper. Eyewitness accounts indicated that cheating occurred openly, with little to no attempt to maintain exam integrity.
Ghotki Adds to the Growing List of Exam Paper Leaks
Ghotki also experienced a leak of the tenth-grade chemistry paper ahead of the exam. These repeated incidents across districts have heightened public concern regarding the security of the examination process and cast doubt on the credibility of the regions educational institutions.
