Sindh Announces Ramadan Timings for Schools & Colleges
The Sindh government has announced new school and college timings for the holy month of Ramadan, ensuring a balanced schedule that accommodates fasting students and staff. The revised timings apply to various educational institutions across the province, with adjustments made for different school shifts. Adjusted School Timings for Ramadan
For single-shift primary schools, classes will be held from 8:00 AM to 12:30 PM. Meanwhile, double-shift primary schools will operate as follows:
- Morning shift: 7:30 AM to 11:30 AM
- Afternoon shift: 11:45 AM to 2:45 PM
These Ramadan timings are also applicable to secondary, higher secondary, and elementary schools across Sindh.
Special Friday Schedule
To accommodate Friday prayers, schools will follow a modified schedule on Fridays:
- Morning shift: Concludes at 10:30 AM
- Afternoon shift: Ends at 1:15 PM
Implementation and Compliance
School authorities have been instructed to enforce these adjusted schedules from the first day of Ramadan, ensuring a smooth academic routine while respecting the religious commitments of students and staff.
