Scholarship Opportunity by OGDCL & IBA Karachi
The Oil & Gas Development Company Limited OGDCL and the Institute of Business Administration IBA Karachi have joined hands to introduce the OGDCL Talent Hunt Program. This program aims to provide scholarships to deserving students from various provinces of Pakistan. Undergraduate scholarships are available under this program, along with the Qarz-e-Hasna facility for eligible candidates. The students can get the detailed information of Scholarship Opportunity by OGDCL & IBA Karachi.
Program Details:
The IBA - OGDCL Talent Hunt Program offers selected students from specific districts across Pakistan an opportunity for aptitude skill development and training at IBA Karachi. Successful candidates will have the chance to secure admission for a four-year undergraduate degree program at the Institute. Upon admission, students may also be eligible for a full four-year scholarship or the Qarz-e-Hasna facility.
Application Process:
Candidates who successfully qualify for the Orientation Assessment test and Interview and wish to pursue an undergraduate degree at IBA Karachi in one of the offered programs are encouraged to apply. Upon completion of Orientation training, candidates will be required to appear for IBA’s Admission test for undergraduate programs.
Scholarship Eligibility Criteria:
Candidates must hold domicile from the specified districts.
Applicants who have passed the HSSC-I examination in 2022 and will appear for the HSSC-II examination in 2023 are eligible to apply.
Candidates who have passed the HSSC-II examination in 2022 are also eligible to apply.
Orientation Program:
The OGDCL IBA Orientation Program spans two months and includes:
- Orientation training conducted by highly qualified IBA faculty and mentors
- Preparation for aptitude tests in SAT format
- Sessions on presentation & communication skills
- One-on-one tutoring & counseling
- Mock exams & panel interviews
- Guest speaker sessions
- Fully covered travel allowance, boarding & lodging facility for outstation candidates
- Monthly stipend for selected candidates
Scholarship Schedule for 2023:
- Applications open: March 01, 2024
- Application submission deadline: March 25, 2024
- Assessment Test for the Orientation Program: April 28, 2024
- Result Announcement: May 12, 2024
- Telephonic Panel Interviews: May 17-19, 2024
- Final Shortlisted candidates’ announcement: May 20, 2024
- Orientation Program starts: June 03, 2024
