Quaid i Azam University Islamabad Revised Schedule Due to Urs Celebrations
In light of the security guidelines provided by the ICT administration in honor of the Urs of Hazrat Bari Imam, Quaid-i-Azam University Islamabad has announced a temporary closure. The university will be closed from Tuesday, August 15, 2023, until Friday, August 18, 2023. This decision has been taken to ensure the safety and well-being of the university community during this significant religious event.
As a result of this adjustment, the ongoing summer semesters academic calendar will also be modified. The teaching period for the summer semester will be extended until September 10th, 2023. This extension aims to accommodate the interruption caused by the universitys closure and to ensure that students receive the necessary instructional time and support to successfully complete their courses.
The decision to extend the teaching period has been made with the approval of the Competent Authority, ensuring that academic standards and students educational needs remain a top priority. The university administration is committed to providing a conducive learning environment while also respecting and responding to the cultural and religious events that hold importance in the lives of its students and staff.
Quaid-i-Azam University Islamabad is known for its academic excellence and commitment to producing well-rounded graduates.
