Punjab University New Office Timings for Ramadan
The University of the Punjab has announced modified office timings for its employees during Ramadan 2025, as stated in an official notification from the Office of the Registrar. The students can get the latest updates of PU Revises Office Hours for Ramadan 2025.
Updated Work Schedule for University Staff
According to the notification, staff members following a five-day workweek will adhere to the following adjusted schedule:
- Monday to Thursday: 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM
- Friday: 8:00 AM to 12:00 Noon
For employees in essential services working six days a week, the office hours will be as follows:
- Monday to Saturday excluding Friday: 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM
- Friday: 8:00 AM to 12:00 Noon
Implementation and Official Notification
The revised schedule was officially issued on February 26, 2025, and was signed by Registrar Dr. Ahmad Islam. Copies of the notification have been circulated to relevant university officials, including deans, principals, and directors, for proper implementation.
Objective of the Revised Timings
These adjustments have been made to accommodate university employees during the holy month of Ramadan, ensuring a balance between their professional responsibilities and fasting commitments while maintaining efficient university operations.
