Punjab Provides Free Textbooks to Public Schools After Summer Delay
During the extended summer break in Punjab, schools have remained closed for two and a half months. Unfortunately, this break has had a detrimental impact on numerous students across the province, as they have yet to receive their free textbooks for the current academic year. The main reason behind this delay is a shortage of approximately 40,000 textbooks. Regrettably, the Punjab School Education Department has been unable to distribute the free textbooks effectively, resulting in a considerable portion of the current academic year going to waste for thousands of students. This delay has created an undesirable situation, affecting the students learning process and hindering their educational progress.
