Punjab Increases SSC Registration Fees for 2025–2027
The education boards across Punjab have introduced a new registration fee structure for students enrolled in classes 9 and 10. This updated fee schedule will be applicable from the academic session of 2025 through 2027. Under the revised plan, the total registration fee has now been increased to Rs. 2,910, marking a hike from the earlier amount. Breakdown of the Updated Fee
The new registration charges include several components: a Registration Fee of Rs. 1,100, Processing Fee of Rs. 630, Board Development Fund of Rs. 300, Scholarship Fee of Rs. 180, and a Sports Fee of Rs. 200. Alongside these board charges, schools will collect an additional Rs. 500 as their own institutional fee. Moreover, students may also incur extra charges ranging from Rs. 300 to Rs. 500 for miscellaneous services provided by the schools. This fee structure is applicable to both public and private educational institutions.
Registration Schedule and Late Fee Policy
For the academic year 2025, the registration process will officially commence on May 29, with no additional charges for timely applications. However, students submitting their registration forms between May 30 and June 13 will be required to pay a late fee of Rs. 600. This deadline ensures timely processing and preparation for the upcoming academic year.
Age Requirement and Documentation for Registration
To be eligible for registration, students must be at least 11 years and 2 months old as of August 1, 2025. The registration procedure will be conducted online, but schools are still required to submit a physical copy of the students’ registration documents to the respective board office. Furthermore, it is mandatory for students to provide their B-Forms as part of the registration documentation.
