Punjab Govt Announces Holiday in Schools and Colleges Today
Punjab government has announced the holiday in all educational institutes across the province. The government has made this announcement of closing the schools and colleges in the province on the recommendations of the law enforcement agencies. The holiday announcement was made keeping in view the law and order situation in the province. The students will note that Punjab Govt Announces Holiday in Schools Today. The government said that it is its foremost duty to keep the students safe and secure of all educational institutes in Punjab. In view of imposing of section 144 across the province, the future of the students can be compromised because of protests and riots.
Security Situation in Province
The government said that the attacks on the public and private properties and any type of protest will not be tolerable. On the recommendation of Interior Ministry, the School Education Department and Higher Education Department has issued the notifications. The holiday notification is issued for all public and private schools and colleges and the universities will also be closed today. The Home department has issued the Section 144, which will be implemented from 18 October to 19 October.
