Punjab Exam and Result Schedule for Academic Year 2025 26
The Punjab Education Department has confirmed the schedule for the 2025-26 academic session, with schools set to reopen on April 1, 2025.
Exam Schedule for 2024-25 Released
As the current academic year 2024-25 nears its conclusion, the department has outlined the final examination dates. Exams will be conducted from March 10 to March 20, spanning over 42,000 government institutions and involving more than 6.5 million students. The results are expected to be announced in the last week of March

Major Changes in Matriculation Exams
A significant policy shift has been introduced for matriculation students. The Punjab Curriculum and Textbook Board PCTB has restructured the marking scheme for Islamic Studies and Pakistan Studies, increasing their total score from 50 to 100 marks each.
Under the new education policy, students will now appear for Islamic Studies in Grade 9 and Pakistan Studies in Grade 10. These modifications have already been integrated into updated textbooks, currently in the printing phase.

Education experts believe these curriculum updates will strengthen students’ grasp of national and religious studies, ensuring better learning outcomes. The reforms align with the Punjab government’s vision to enhance educational quality and student performance.
