Daanish Schools are offering fully-funded scholarships for deserving students from grade 6 to intermediate. Admission is strictly merit-based, with 99 seats in each school reserved for needy students, while only 11 students 10% are admitted on a fee-paying basis. Those admitted through the scholarship will have all educational, boarding, and other expenses fully covered. The deadline to apply for admission is December 8, 2024. Students applying on a self-financed basis are required to pay PKR 20,500 per month. For those applying on a need-based scholarship, the total household income should not exceed PKR 15,000 per month, which was previously set at PKR 37,000. Scholarship Categories for Daanish Schools


Students applying for the Daanish Schools Scholarship must fall under one of the following categories, listed in order of precedence:

  • Full Orphan: The student has lost both parents and is being looked after by an elder sibling or a member of the extended family.
  • Single Orphan Mother-Led Household: The student has lost his father and is living with his mother.
  • Illiterate Parents with No Property: Both parents are illiterate, do not own any immovable property, and neither is disabled.
  • School out with Illiterate Parents: The student was previously a school out, and both parents are illiterate and without immovable property.
  • Illiterate, Jobless Parents: Both parents are illiterate, do not own immovable property, and have no fixed source of income.
  • Semi-Skilled or Unskilled Worker’s Child: The student’s parents are semi-skilled or unskilled village workers, illiterate, without any immovable property, and do not reside in a town, tehsil, or district headquarters.
  • Resident of Town or Katcha House: The student resides in a town, tehsil, or district headquarters, with his family living in a katcha house.

Daanish Schools also reserve two seats per campus for students whose parents are employees of the school. Additionally, seats have been allocated to provincial quotas, with two extra seats for students from FATA South and North Waziristan and Balochistan, specifically in the Attock and Rajanpur campuses.

Eligibility Criteria for Daanish Schools Scholarship


To be eligible for Daanish Schools Admissions 2024 and the Daanish Schools Scholarship, the student must meet the following criteria:

  • Be a current student in Grade 5.
  • Have passed the Class V exams, either from PEC or another recognized board.
  • Be within the age range of 10-12 years for boys and 10-13 years for girls.
  • Belong to a family with a household income below the approved income bracket.
  • Fall into one of the defined categories for scholarship eligibility.
  • Successfully pass a written entrance test.
  • Complete antecedent verification.
  • Pass the required medical examination.
  • Be ranked among the top 87-100 students based on merit.

Application Process for Daanish Schools Admission and Scholarship


Students interested in applying can obtain admission forms from Daanish Schools or download them from the school’s website. The forms should be submitted to the respective Daanish School along with the following attested documents:

  • Four passport-sized photographs.
  • Punjab Education Commission exam result or final Class 5 results.
  • Photocopy of the father’s CNIC.
  • Birth certificate or B Form.

Shortlisting and Written Test Process


After submitting the admission form, students are shortlisted for the written test. Call letters for the test will contain important information, including:

  • Details of the subjects to be tested.
  • Marks distribution for each subject.

  • Venue and time of the test.
  • Required materials for the test.
  • Roll number slips attached to the call letter.

Daanish Schools Scholarship Written Test Standards


The following standards will apply to the written test:

  • Tests will be designed centrally by the Academic Wing at the Head Office.
  • Subjects tested include English, Urdu, Math, Science, and IQ.
  • The test will consist of one paper, divided into sections for different subjects.
  • Marks distribution: English – 35, General Science – 15, Mathematics – 20, Urdu – 10, IQ – 20.
  • Students may answer the Science and Math sections in either English or Urdu.
  • Only the data of successful candidates will be forwarded to the Head Office for final merit-based selection and antecedent verification.
