PMC MDCAT Expected in November 2022

Pakistan Medical Commission issued the directions to the University of Health Sciences Lahore to hold the medical and dental colleges admission test in Punjab for the session 2022-23. The government of the Punjab will accord the formal approval of holding MDCAT test, which will be managed after a gap of three years. Before this, the government decided to conduct the MDCAT test at the national level with same course and curriculum to set one merit in the whole country for the medical colleges and universities all over Pakistan. PMC also changed the eligibility criteria and pass percentage of MDCAT test for grant of admission to MBBS and BDS programs in government and private colleges and universities. The pass percentage set for MDCAT test for MBBS class is 55% and for the BDS program is 45% and the candidates, who will get scores according to this criteria, they will be able to apply for admission in the medical and dental colleges.
