PHSA Peshawar BS Nursing Admission 2023

The Provincial Health Services Academy PHSA, a vital institution under the Department of Health, Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, is once again making headlines with the announcement of admissions for its much-anticipated BS Nursing 04 Years degree program for the Fall 2023-2027 session. Admission Details

The admission process is open to a variety of esteemed nursing colleges within the PHSA Network, including the Government College of Nursing Lady Reading Hospital Peshawar, Government College of Nursing Hayatabad Medical Complex Peshawar, Government College of Nursing Khyber Teaching Hospital Peshawar, and several others. To be eligible for this program, applicants must possess an F.Sc Pre-Medical or an equivalent qualification with at least 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology as compulsory subjects. Additionally, a compulsory KMU CAT test is required for admission.

Only candidates with domicile in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and newly merged districts are eligible for admission, and the selection process will be on an open merit basis, with a female-to-male ratio of 9:1 to ensure gender balance in each nursing college.

Prospective candidates can download the prospectus from the PHSA official website and are required to deposit a processing fee of Rs. 5001 at any National Bank of Pakistan Aitemaad Branch into the DG Provincial Health Services Academy Account.

The closing date for submission of online admission forms is November 20, 2023, at 5:00 PM. Following this, the list of all applicants will be displayed on November 23, 2023, on the PHSA website. Any requested corrections must be submitted by November 29, 2023.

The Interview Stage

Shortlisted candidates will face an interview at the PHSA office in Peshawar, with the physical presence of the candidate being mandatory. This is a crucial stage for candidates as all original documents, including the KMU-CAT result, a recent passport-sized photograph, and a set of attested photocopies of relevant documents mentioned in the prospectus, must be provided.

Hafiz-e-Quran candidates should bring a Hifz-e-Quran certificate from a registered Deeni Madrasa and will have to pass a Hifz-e-Quran test during the interview. A successful test will earn them 20 additional marks in their application.
