Program Overview

The PhD in Psychiatry/Public Mental Health focuses on building expertise in areas such as mental health epidemiology, global mental health policy, clinical psychiatry research, and biostatistics. Candidates will engage in interdisciplinary learning, guided by KMU’s team of highly experienced mentors and supported by cutting-edge facilities.

Eligibility Criteria

To apply, candidates must meet the following criteria:

MBBS degree from a PMDC/HEC-recognized university

FCPS in Psychiatry or have completed FCPS training in Psychiatry

Age Limit: Up to 40 years

Preference will be given to candidates with:

A Master’s degree in Global Health, Public Health, Epidemiology, Biostatistics, or Health Research from a recognized institution

Demonstrated experience in clinical research, particularly in the field of mental health

Excellent command of English written and spoken
