PEC 2000 Trainee Engineers Internship Program 2022
Pakistan Engineering Council is going to start their Trainee Engineers program to provide the on-job training to 2000 fresh engineers. PEC has announced this scheme for 2000 fresh engineers, who completed their engineering degree during 2022 and 2021 and they are now engaged in various sectors. The fresh graduates can complete their education and training with hands-on exposure, working knowledge, skill enhancement and professional competence to complete the latest techniques and technologies. The candidates will note their PEC 2000 Trainee Engineers Internship Program 2022.
The fresh graduates, who completed their engineering degree in 2020 or 2021 and they did not get any training / internship program under any government program / scheme and they did not get any government or private sector job or they are not full time students of any public or private educational institute, they can submit their application forms for this training program.
PEC Training Program eligibility criteria:
- Pakistani national
- Fresh graduates
- Registered with PEC
- Minimum 50% marks or 2.5 CGPA
- Female candidates are encouraged to apply for internship
- 2% quota for disabled applicant
- 5% quote for minorities
- Selected trainee engineer will get stipend of PKR 30,000/-
- Trainee Engineers Training period will be 6 months
How to Apply for PEC Trainee Engineer Program
The candidates can submit their application forms online at the ‘On-Job Training’ portal of PEC.
Mechanism for PEC Trainee Engineer Program
- Applicants can send their application forms including data, discipline, domicile, location and area of interest with CV to carry out their registration.
- Segregation of data as discipline, domicile, location and area of interest by PEC for employers.
- The candidates can have access to pool of interested employers according to their need / requirement industry, technical organization, HEIs, R&D, services and marketing.
- Selection of applicants by employers through profile / CV review and interview
- Employers will share list of selected candidates with PEC to issue formal notification.
- Release of salary by PEC to respective employers for selected trainee engineers.
- The employers demand acknowledgement of salary, which is paid to trainee engineers.
- After six month training, employers will submit feedback report as per PEC format.
- PEC will issue the experience certificate to trainee engineers on successful completion with the consultation of the relevant employer.
