Pakistan Institute of Management Professional Diploma Admissions 2024
The Pakistan Institute of Management PIM, under the Ministry of Industries & Production, Government of Pakistan, has been serving the nation since 1954. PIM is now accepting admissions for its professional diploma programs for 2024, available both online and on-campus.
PIM offers Professional Diploma Programs in Lahore. These include Procurement and Supply Chain Management and Healthcare and Lean Hospital Management.
For Procurement and Supply Chain Management, classes run from 10 am to 4 pm. The program covers fundamentals and functions of supply chain, planning and demand integration, logistics and distribution network design, strategic procurement and supply chain process models, sourcing, supplier selection, and performance management, legal and contractual management, management of internal and external stakeholders, technology infrastructure in supply chain, value chain mapping in supply chain, and supply chain performance management.
In Healthcare and Lean Hospital Management, classes are scheduled for Saturdays from 5 pm to 8 pm and Sundays from 10 am to 1 pm. The curriculum includes health and healthcare system, primary healthcare system, future hospital models, functional adjacencies in hospital building, managing patient care and support services, quality assurance in hospitals, introducing LEAN in hospitals, procurement, supplies, and inventory management in hospitals, and eliminating waste.
The Chinese Language and Cultural Understanding program, running from 6 pm to 9 pm, includes vocabulary and pronunciation used in daily lives, understanding of structural components and cognitive elements of language, verbal communication and practical use of language, cultural dimensions of language, understanding varieties of the Chinese language, Chinese cultural understanding, and closing a business deal.
