He outlined the critical educational challenges facing the country, especially those worsened by climate change. In response, the government has declared an educational emergency and is actively deploying all resources to improve access, infrastructure, teacher development, and student nutrition through multi-ministerial coordination.

Chairman Wang Dang shared CIIC’s strong interest in setting up technical training centers throughout Pakistan. These institutes aim to empower Pakistani youth with practical skills, aligning with the workforce demands of Chinese enterprises operating under the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor CPEC. He also lauded Pakistan’s commitment to education reforms and pledged CIIC’s continued cooperation to advance these goals.

Bilateral Ministerial Talks Planned to Accelerate Progress

An important outcome of the discussions was the agreement to facilitate a formal meeting between the education ministers of both countries. Secretary Wani emphasized Pakistan’s adoption of modern education strategies, including disaster-resilient infrastructure, the Pink Bus Program for girls in Gilgit-Baltistan and Islamabad, and a School Meals Program to combat child malnutrition. These reforms are being executed through a comprehensive 360-degree strategy guided by a task force established by the Prime Minister, aiming for sustainable improvements across the sector.

Mr. Wang Dang detailed CIIC’s vast experience, noting that China International Intellectech Group, founded in 1987 and headquartered in Beijing, operates in over 300 cities across China, offering intellectual and human resource services. The meeting concluded on a positive note with both sides reaffirming their dedication to strengthening educational cooperation for shared progress and development.
