New Ex-Pakistan Leave Policy for Teachers by HED
The Higher Education Department has unveiled a revised policy concerning ex-Pakistan leave for teachers. According to this policy, teachers wishing to take study leave are required to submit a surety bond amounting to Rs. 2.5 million. The teachers can get the latest updates of New Ex-Pakistan Leave Policy for Teachers by HED.
The departments notification detailed the new policy, applicable to both teachers and other employees, and requested information on all existing ex-Pakistan leave cases. The notification emphasized that all individuals seeking leave must submit a surety bond. Specifically, teachers applying for study leave must provide a bond of Rs. 2.5 million.
Additionally, teachers or employees who fail to complete their degree programs after taking study leave will be obligated to repay the salary received during their leave period.
Meanwhile, the Punjab provincial government is preparing to hire thousands of teachers in the upcoming weeks. The recruitment process, which will focus on subject specialist teachers, will be managed by the Public Service Commission under the supervision of Provincial Minister of Education Sikandar Hayat, following directives from Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif.
