MORA Minority Scholarship for Students 2024-25




Ministry of Religious Affairs MORA is accepting applications for scholarships from minority students for various levels of education, ranging from primary to undergraduate and master’s programs. These scholarships are available for the current financial year, 2024-25. Eligible students have up to 30 days from the scholarship announcement to submit their applications, with the final deadline set for November 8, 2024. The application form for the MORA Minority Scholarship can be accessed below or downloaded from the Ministry of Religious Affairs website. Students from minority groups whose parents earn less than PKR 74,000 per month are encouraged to apply.


Eligibility Criteria for MORA Minority Scholarship 2024-25

To be eligible for the MORA Minority Scholarship, students must meet the following requirements:


  • Be enrolled as regular students at government or public sector schools, colleges, or universities, with at least 50% marks.

  • Students must belong to minority groups and demonstrate financial need, be orphans, or have a disability. A strong educational background is also required.


Application Process for MORA Minority Scholarship 2024-25

To apply for the scholarship, students need to:


  • Submit the application online, ensuring it is supported by the last two attested annual marks sheets and an original income certificate from the parents/guardians.

  • Obtain certification of their particulars from the head of their educational institution. An attested copy of the student’s school progress report or marks sheet from the most recent annual exam must also be attached. Marks sheets created on plain paper or freshly prepared forms will not be accepted.

  • The head of the institution must verify that the application is complete, all necessary documents are attached, and provide a covering letter. Only applications submitted through educational institutions will be considered.


Additional Requirements and Exclusions


  • Students who are already receiving financial aid or scholarships from other sources are not eligible to apply.

  • The student’s CNIC number or NADRA B-form for those under 18 must be provided on the application, along with copies of these documents.

  • Incomplete forms will not be accepted.

  • Students enrolled in private institutions are not eligible.

  • Parents or guardians must include their contact details phone number and email to ensure any queries can be resolved promptly.


Important Deadlines and Submission Instructions

Applications, along with all required documents, must be submitted within 30 days of the advertisement’s publication. Applications sent before the official announcement or after the deadline will not be considered. Photocopies of the application form can be used from the advertisement published in newspapers.
