In the dynamic realm of technology, Mehran University of Engineering & Technology MUET takes a pioneering step towards fostering sustainable development through the ICT Endowment Fund for Sustainable Development ICTEFSD. This initiative opens doors for scholars, offering Scholarship Opportunities for Masters and Ph.D. students in selected areas of the Institute of Information and Communication Technology IICT.
For Ph.D. aspirants, the university presents a golden opportunity through Ph.D. Assistantships 02. The successful candidates will receive a Monthly Stipend and Fees of Rs 27,500 along with additional fees support up to Rs 5,000 per month. Eligibility criteria include enrollment in Ph.D. programs such as Electrical, Electronics, Telecommunication, Computer Systems, Software, Biomedical Engineering, and Mechatronics Engineering, coupled with a qualification in the Comprehensive Examination.
The priority areas of research encompass cutting-edge domains like Machine Learning/Artificial Intelligence and fields critical for sustainable development such as Data Science/Data Mining/Cyber Security. The university also emphasizes research in Wireless Sensors Networks/IoT for Agricultural and Engineering Applications, Industrial Automation 4.0, Hybrid Wind and Photovoltaic Power Generation with Energy Storage, and the development of Track Condition Monitoring Systems.
For Masters students, the university offers Masters ME Assistantships 06 with a duration of 6 months, providing a Monthly Stipend and Fees of Rs 15,000 and additional fees support up to Rs 3,000 per month. Eligibility criteria include enrollment in Masters programs in the specified engineering disciplines and a commendable academic record.
