MDCAT Retake Rescheduled Amid Political Unrest in Islamabad
Medical and Dental College Admission Test MDCAT 2024 retake in Islamabad has been delayed due to a protest planned by Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf PTI on November 24, as per reports. The students can get fresh updates of MDCAT Retake Rescheduled Amid Political Unrest in Islamabad.
According to sources, Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto Medical University SZABMU will now hold the test on Sunday, December 8. This decision follows an earlier announcement by SZABMU to reconduct the tests on November 24, as directed by the Islamabad High Court IHC.
The IHC had instructed the retake of MDCAT 2024 in Islamabad and Azad Jammu and Kashmir AJK, citing discrepancies in the initial examination. The court invalidated the earlier results, deeming the original test paper as outside the prescribed syllabus.
In its October ruling, Justice Arbab Muhammad Tahir issued a one-page order mandating the Pakistan Medical and Dental Council PMDC and SZABMU MDCAT 2024 to organize a new mdcat date in islamabad 2024 within a month. The directive specifically emphasized ensuring fairness and syllabus compliance for candidates from Islamabad.
