Lahore Board Introduces New Roll Number Slips to Stop Cheating
Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education Lahore has commenced the distribution of roll number slips for Intermediate Part-2 students who will appear in the First Annual Examinations 2025. As per Controller of Examinations, Zahid Mian, the exams are set to start from April 29, with an estimated 183,000 students participating this year. QR Code Integration to Ensure Transparency
To combat cheating and impersonation, BISE Lahore has introduced QR codes on the roll number slips. Zahid Mian emphasized that the inclusion of QR technology has already shown positive results by effectively identifying and preventing fake candidates from entering the examination centres, thus enhancing the transparency of the examination process.
Procedure to Access Roll Number Slips
Private candidates are advised to download their roll number slips from the official BISE Lahore website.
Regular candidates will receive their slips directly from the educational institutions where they are enrolled.
Examination Schedule and Subject Details
On the first day of the examination, the morning session will feature subjects including Psychology, Food and Nutrition, and Military Science. The evening session will comprise papers in Outlines of Home Economics, Hematology and Blood Banking, and Applied Sciences. The English Compulsory exam is scheduled for April 30 and will be conducted in both morning and evening shifts.
Mandatory Guidelines for Students
Candidates must bring their roll number slips with them to the examination centre, as entry without the slip will be strictly prohibited. Each slip contains vital details such as the candidate’s individual date sheet, exam timings, and the address of the designated centre.
