Lahore Board Imposes Strict Ban on Online Sharing of Past Exam Papers
Lahore Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education has imposed a ban on sharing past Matric and Intermediate exam papers on social media platforms. The students can get fresh information regarding Lahore Board Prohibits Online Sharing of Past Exam Papers.
In an official statement, the Controller of Examinations cautioned that individuals who upload old or guess papers online will face legal action under the PECA Act, which includes fines and potential imprisonment.
School administrators have been formally informed about this restriction amid rising concerns over the widespread circulation of past papers through WhatsApp groups and other digital platforms by both public and private school teachers.
As per the new regulations, offenders may be sentenced to up to three years in prison and fined Rs. 50,000. The Lahore Board reaffirmed its commitment to preventing unauthorized access to past exam materials in order to maintain the credibility of the examination process.
