ADMISSIONS OPEN 2024 for 5-Year Doctor of Physiotherapy DPT at King Edward Medical University, Lahore

Eligibility Requirements:

Prospective candidates seeking admission to the 5-Year Doctor of Physiotherapy DPT program at King Edward Medical University KEMU, Lahore, for the session 2024-2028 must meet the following eligibility criteria:

Matriculation or Equivalent: Applicants must have completed matriculation or an equivalent examination with a minimum of 60% marks.

Higher Secondary School Certificate HSSC or F.Sc Premedical: Candidates must have passed the HSSC or F.Sc Premedical or an equivalent examination with a minimum of 65% marks. The education should comprise a minimum of twelve years.

A Level Candidates: For candidates with A levels, a minimum of 65% marks on the aggregate is required in an examination from a foreign university or examination body. The course must include at least three science subjects: Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Mathematics. The course must be certified by the Inter Boards Committee of Chairmen BCC as equivalent to HSSC or F.Sc Pre-Medical or intermediate level in Pakistan.

Fresh MDCAT Result: Applicants must possess a fresh MDCAT Medical and Dental College Admission Test result. The result from the previous years MDCAT i.e., MDCAT-2022 will not be considered valid for admission in the session 2024-28.

Domicile: Candidates must have Punjab domicile.

Reserved Seat: One merit-based reserved seat is available for candidates from AJK/Baluchistan/Gilgit Baltistan for the Doctor of Physiotherapy DPT program.

Aggregate Formula:

Matriculation x 10%

F.Sc. x 45%

MDCAT x 45%

Availability & Submission of Admission Forms for Doctor of Physiotherapy:

Application forms for Doctor of Physiotherapy can be obtained from the School of Physiotherapy at Mayo Hospital/KEMU, Lahore, or downloaded from the official website www.kemu.edu.pk.

Two sets of applications along with relevant documents will be accepted.

The admission processing fee can be deposited at The Bank of Punjab, Bank Square Branch, Lahore, or a pay order of Rs.300/- in favor of Vice Chancellor, KEMU, will also be acceptable.

Completed admission forms with all required documents should be submitted.

Important Dates:

Starting Date of Admission: 20-12-2023

Last Date for Submission of Admission Forms: 04-01-2024

Display of 1st Merit List: 20-01-2024

No hostel accommodation will be provided.

The fee once paid will be non-refundable.

Incomplete admission forms will be rejected.
