Khyber Medical University: Admissions Fall 2023 - Your Gateway to Excellence
In the pursuit of a successful career in nursing, Khyber Medical University KMU stands as a beacon of excellence in academics and research. KMUs Directorate of Admissions invites aspiring nurses to embark on a journey of learning, growth, and achievement through its BSN Post RN 2 Years Program for the fall of 2023.
Eligibility Criteria for BSN Post RN Program
To be eligible for this program, candidates should meet the following criteria:
- Matriculation with Science in accordance with HEC requirements
- Diploma in General Nursing with at least 2nd Division
- Diploma in Specialty/Midwifery with at least 2nd Division
- All in-service candidates must apply through the proper channel and provide a valid PNC card.
Notably, candidates who completed their General Nursing Diploma and Midwifery or any other specialty before June 30, 2016, and matriculated without science subjects are also eligible for admission to the Post RN BSN Nursing Program.
Admission Process and Important Dates
The schedule for the admission process is as follows:
- Admission forms will be available from November 1, 2023.
- The last date for the submission of admission forms is November 10, 2023.
- The list of eligible candidates for the entry test will be displayed on November 15, 2023.
- The entrance test for BSN Post RN is scheduled for November 17, 2023.
- The final merit list of selected candidates will be displayed on December 6, 2023.
- Classes and orientation for the program will commence on December 11, 2023.
A Special Opportunity for Ex-Post-RN Graduates
Ex-Post-RN graduates who have already completed their Post-RN from KMU but did not cover Islamic Studies and Pakistan Studies in their course can also apply for admission in these subjects, as per HEC requirements. These candidates should submit their admission forms in hard copy to the office of the Director KMU Institute of Nursing Sciences at KMUs main campus in Phase-5, Hayatabad, Peshawar.
