Khushal Khan Khattak University Karak: Offering Spring 2024 Admissions

Program Offerings at Khushal Khan Khattak University

PhD in Physics:

Applicants must hold an MPhil/MS or an equivalent qualification with a minimum CGPA of 3.00 or First Division in their coursework.

A valid GAT subject test score of 60% or successful completion of the Universitys test equivalent to GRE with a 60% score is required.

Candidates need to qualify in a departmental interview.

MS in Management Sciences:

Candidates must possess a relevant Masters degree or 4 years of relevant education after intermediate with a minimum CGPA of 2.5 in the Semester System or Second Division in the Annual System.

A GAT-General/Equivalent test conducted by the National Testing Service with a minimum 50% cumulative score or the Universitys equivalent GRE test with 50% marks is required.

A departmental interview is mandatory.

Master of Philosophy MPhil in Communication & Media Studies:

Applicants need a minimum CGPA of 3.0 out of 4.0 in the Semester System or a first division in the Annual System MS/M.Phil/Equivalent Degree in the relevant subject.

Passing GAT-Subject conducted by NTS or ETS with a minimum of 60% marks or the Universitys equivalent GRE test with a 60% score is mandatory.

A departmental interview is part of the selection process.

Graduate Programs in Arts & Social Sciences:

Eligibility requires a relevant Masters degree or 4-years of education after intermediate with at least a Second Division or a CGPA of 2.5 from a recognized University/Degree Awarding Institution.

Candidates must have qualified ETS-GRE General/NTS-GAT General with at least 50% marks or pass the Universitys equivalent GRE test with 50% marks.

Similar to other programs, a departmental interview is necessary.

Admission Process and Schedule:

Interested candidates must submit their admission forms online before the deadline of 22nd January 2024.

A bank receipt of Rs.1000/- deposited in the Bank of Khyber, Khushal Khan Khattak University, Karak Branch in favor of the University Treasurer, must accompany the printed copy of the admission application form.

The university will conduct tests at its discretion; candidates should frequently check the universitys website and social media pages for the schedule.

Original documents need to be presented during the interview, and selected candidates will have to submit attested copies of educational documents along with photographs.

Admitted students will be required to submit migration certificates and affidavits within 15 days after fee deposit.

In-service candidates must apply through the proper channel and submit a NOC from their employers.
