Admission Criteria: Prospective candidates must hold an MBBS/BDS from a recognized institution and have completed a one-year house job. They should possess a valid CNIC/Passport, Domicile certificate, and either permanent or provisional registration with the Pakistan Medical & Dental Council/Pakistan Medical Commission.
Entrance Test: The entrance test, the Joint Centralized Admission Test JCAT, is a crucial step for admission. The written examination consists of 125 multiple-choice questions without negative marking, totaling 250 marks. Passing marks are set at 60%.
Application Procedure: Candidates are required to fill out an online application form available at https://jcat.kemu.edu.pk. The process includes registration, generating a bank challan, depositing the examination fee, uploading the paid challan, and submitting the online application.
Important Dates:
- Online applications with a single fee Rs. 6000 will be accepted from 21.12.2023 to 08.01.2024.
- Online applications with a double fee Rs. 12000 will be accepted from 09.01.2024 to 15.01.2024.
- No applications will be entertained after 15.01.2024.
