IUT Dhaka OIC Scholarships for International Students

Islamic University of Technology IUT in Dhaka, Bangladesh—an affiliated institution of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation OIC—has officially announced its international scholarship program for the academic year 2025. These scholarships, both fully and partially funded, are available for a wide array of undergraduate and postgraduate courses, welcoming applicants from OIC member nations. Fully Funded Scholarships for BSc Engineering Disciplines

IUT is offering 40 fully funded scholarships exclusively for nominated students from OIC countries in its BSc Engineering programs. These scholarships 2025 are not accessible to non-nominated applicants. The breakdown of available seats is as follows:

Mechanical Engineering – 10 scholarships
Electrical and Electronic Engineering – 20 scholarships
Computer Science and Engineering – 10 scholarships

OIC-Funded Scholarships for Technical Education Degrees

In addition, full scholarships are being extended to students pursuing Technical Education programs. Admission to these programs requires an official nomination, and a total of 40 scholarships are offered under this category:

B.Sc. in Technical Education 3 years – 30 scholarships
M.Sc. in Technical Education – 10 scholarships

This category welcomes applicants from all OIC nations, including the host country, Bangladesh. Applications must be submitted using IUT’s specified admission forms, and all scholarship distributions will follow equal representation among nominating countries.

Partially Funded OIC Scholarships for Broader Academic Programs

IUT is also offering 48 partial scholarships for various undergraduate courses in engineering and management. These scholarships require a nomination and are distributed as follows:

Mechanical Engineering – 10 seats
Industrial Production Engineering – 2 seats
Electrical and Electronic Engineering – 20 seats
Computer Science and Engineering – 10 seats
Software Engineering – 2 seats
Civil Engineering – 2 seats
BBA in Technology Management – 2 seats

If any scholarships remain unclaimed, they may be awarded to deserving students from Bangladesh. Students benefiting from these scholarships will also receive on-campus residential facilities.
