Islamabad First Smart School to Teach Children Freely

Alight Pakistan and Future Development Holdings made their collaboration to build the smart school, where the education is provided to the students freely. In this school, the free education and life skills are offered to out of school children in Islamabad. Islamabad First Smart School to Teach Children Freely.

The world renowned architect, Zaha Hadid designed the building of the school and it was gifted by the Education Above All, which is a Doha based foundation. This foundation has teamed up with Alight Pakistan and this foundation is funding largest primary education initiative and it aims to educate one million out of the school children. The building is innovative and energy sufficient and it is located in Community Department Hub. The agreement was signed between the two educational bodies at FDH’s office located in Islamabad. The company wants to provide the benefits of modern education and amenities of life to the poor and weak groups of the society.

The rep of Alight Pakistan said that there are total 22 million children in Pakistan and they are 10 percent of the total population of Pakistan, who do not attend the schools because of different reasons. The foundation is making the solutions through the synergies of the public, private and philanthropic sectors to face this huge challenge of providing educations to such children, who are still out of the schools.
