Inter Board Karachi Grants Grace Marks to First Year Students
The Sindh Boards and Universities Department has officially released a letter approving concessional marks for first-year students of the Karachi Intermediate Board. In the letter, Sharafuddin, Section Officer, addressed the Chairman of the Board, referring to the findings of a fact-finding inquiry committee that investigated the significant in the 2024 11th-grade results of the Board of Intermediate Education Karachi. Based on the committee’s recommendations, the Sindh Cabinet approved granting 20% grace marks in Chemistry and 15% grace marks in both Physics and Mathematics. Immediate Implementation Requested
The letter further requests the Chairman to take all necessary measures to enforce the provincial cabinet’s decision without delay. It also emphasizes that the Board must update the department once the implementation process is completed to ensure that the directive is properly carried out.
