Indus University Exams Postponed and New Date Schedule 2023
In a recent development, Indus University has issued a crucial announcement regarding the postponement of mid-term exams scheduled for Thursday, November 9, 2023. This decision directly impacts all 1st to 8th-semester students across various departments.
The affected departments include the Faculty of Management Sciences FMS and the Faculty of Computer Science and Information Technology FCIT, as well as the Faculty of Engineering, Science, and Technology FEST and the Faculty of Design FCD. Specifically, 2nd to 8th-semester students of FEST and FCD are advised to take note of the revised examination dates.
Reason for Postponement:
The postponement is attributed to the declaration of a Public Holiday Iqbal Day by the Government of Pakistan. As a result, all exams originally scheduled for Thursday, November 9, 2023, will be rescheduled to ensure the convenience and fairness of the examination process.
Revised Exam Dates and Times:
- FCD, FCIT: Thursday, 9th Nov. 2023, 10:45 AM - 12:45 PM and 02:45 PM - 04:45 PM → Rescheduled to Monday, 20th Nov. 2023.
- FEST, FCD: Thursday, 9th Nov. 2023, 11:00 AM - 12:30 PM, 03:00 PM - 04:30 PM, and 07:00 PM - 08:30 PM → Rescheduled to Monday, 20th Nov. 2023.
It is imperative for all affected students to mark their calendars with the new dates and times for the rescheduled exams. Importantly, the examination venue and timing will remain unchanged.
Note: While the exams originally scheduled for Thursday, November 9, 2023, have been postponed, all other exams from 10th November onwards will proceed as per the initially established schedule.
