Higher Education Commission USAT Admission Open 2024
The Higher Education Commission HEC, through the Education Testing Council ETC, is set to conduct the HEC Undergraduate Studies Admission Test USAT, a pivotal step for undergraduate admissions in universities across Pakistan. The USAT is modeled after the Scholastic Aptitude Test SAT and is held quarterly, encompassing disciplines like Engineering, Medicine Allied Health, IT, Management, and Social Sciences at the undergraduate level.
USAT is a comprehensive test that offers students eligibility for various universities and HEC Undergraduate Scholarships, akin to the SAT. The HEC USAT Admission Open 2024 invites students who have completed their Higher Secondary School Certificate HSSC or equivalent, and those awaiting final exam results, to apply.
The USAT is categorized into six streams: USAT-E Pre Engineering, USAT-M Pre Medical, USAT-A Arts & Humanities, USAT-CS Computer Science, USAT-GS General Science, and USAT-COM Commerce. A score of 50 or above is considered qualifying, with a perfect score being 100.
HEC Admission Fall 2024 leverages the USAT for admissions, with universities independently announcing their programs. Students must submit their USAT-ETC score card for merit consideration.
Registration for USAT is open until June 30, 2024, with the test scheduled for July 14, 2024. Applicants must register online and ensure their applications are complete, as incomplete submissions will not be considered. Fees are paid through 1Link/1Bill Invoice services, and applicants will receive test details via email/SMS.
