HEC Law GAT 2024 Registration Schedule & Test Details
HEC has announced the schedule for the LAW GAT 2024 Law Graduate Assessment Test. The test is scheduled for June 30, 2024. It is mandatory for all LLB graduates aspiring for Bar Council Registration. Registration Process for LAW-GAT 2024
Applications must be submitted online at the HEC portal by June 04, 2024. Candidates who hold a Bachelors degree in Law or equivalent from an HEC/PBC recognized university are eligible to apply. Registration can be completed online. Applicants will need to download their Roll Number Slip from the same portal a week before the test. Email and SMS notifications regarding test details will be sent to registered candidates. A valid email and mobile number must be provided during the application process. On the test day, candidates must present their printed Roll Number Slip and original CNIC at the test center.
Eligibility Criteria
To qualify for LAW GAT 2024, candidates must have completed a Bachelors degree in Law from a recognized university by HEC and PBC.
Test Centers
The test will be conducted in various cities including Islamabad, Lahore, Karachi, Sukkur, Abbottabad, Quetta, Multan, Hyderabad, Turbat, Bahawalpur, Peshawar, Muzaffarabad, Faisalabad, and Gilgit. Candidates can choose their preferred test center during the application process, provided that at least 250 applicants opt for that center. Once selected, the test center cannot be changed.
How to Register
Visit the official website of the HEC for online registration. For assistance, visit onlinehelp.hec.gov.pk or HEC Secretariat/Regional Centers. The registration process involves completing your profile under "My Profile" and submitting your application through the "Law Graduate Assessment Test" link on the portals menu panel. Only submitted applications will be considered. Payment of the test fee through 1Link 1Bill invoice is mandatory. Verify the online payment on the ETC dashboard after payment.
Important Dates and Conditions
The deadline for online registration is June 04, 2024, at 4 pm. A minimum of 50% score is required to pass LAW GAT. Candidates are allowed a maximum of three attempts per year as per PBC regulations.
