Celebrating 160 years of excellence, the Government College University Lahore GCU invites aspiring students to join its prestigious Second Shift program for Intermediate education. With admissions now open for 2024, GCU continues its tradition of academic brilliance and commitment to nurturing future leaders.
Second Shift Admissions: Offering classes from 2pm to 6pm, GCU Admissions 2024 provides opportunities for male students to pursue Intermediate education in disciplines including Pre-Engineering, Pre-Medical, and Computer Science. Admissions are based on open merit, ensuring equal opportunities for all.
Eligibility Criteria: Candidates who passed their 9th class in 2023 with a minimum of 60% marks, and appeared in the annual exam of the 10th class in 2024, are eligible to apply. Students who have already passed their matriculation exams can also apply but must not be registered for or have appeared in Intermediate Part-I exams at any Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education BISE.
OLevel/Equivalent: Students applying based on OLevel/Equivalent qualifications are eligible for provisional admission. Confirmation is upon submission of complete results i.e., 8 subjects as per IBCC Rules before the Board Registration deadline.
How to Apply: Apply online at www.gcuonline.pk, generate the challan form, and deposit the processing fee of Rs. 1000/- in any UBL branch across Pakistan from 13-06-2024 to 28-06-2024. Hard copies of the admission form are not required.
Important Notes: Ineligibility conditions include students who appear in combined exams of 9th and 10th in 2024, those who failed in one or more subjects in the 9th class, and applicants who passed SSC in the Supplementary Examination of 2019 or earlier.
