GIK Institute of Engineering Sciences and Technology: 30 Years of Excellence open admission 2024

Celebrating three decades of excellence, the Ghulam Ishaq Khan Institute of Engineering Sciences and Technology GIK has consistently been at the forefront of engineering education and innovation in Pakistan. Marking this milestone, GIK Institute, in collaboration with the Ministry of Federal Education and Professional Training and the National Vocational and Technical Training Commission NAVTTC, is launching a groundbreaking IT Training Program aimed at empowering the unemployed youth of Pakistan.

IT Training Program Overview

Under the auspices of the Prime Ministers High Impact Technology Initiative, the GIK Institute is set to offer a six-month IT Training Program focusing on cutting-edge fields such as Artificial Intelligence AI, Data Science, and Blockchain. This initiative will be hosted at the Islamabad Model College for Girls, F-7/4, Margalla Campus, Islamabad, and is designed to equip participants with the skills necessary to thrive in todays technology-driven job market.

Eligibility Criteria

The program is open to candidates who meet the following criteria:

Possess a bachelors degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, MBA, or other related sciences with a foundational understanding of computer programming.

Students who have completed two years or four semesters of their bachelors degree in the aforementioned fields are also eligible to apply.

Entrance Test

Candidates will be required to undergo a one-hour aptitude test that will assess their basic computer science knowledge, along with analytical and communication skills. Successful candidates will then be invited for interviews as part of the final selection process.
