GCWUF Admission Deadline and Schedule Extended

The Government College Women University GCWU Faisalabad has announced important updates regarding the admission process and test schedules for various programs in the upcoming fall 2023-24 academic year. The Directorate of Academics has released a notification detailing the extension of the last date for online applications and the dates for aptitude tests and interviews.

Last Date Extension for Online Applications

In a move aimed at accommodating more aspiring students, the Competent Authority at GCWU Faisalabad has approved an extension for the last date to apply online for all programs, including ADP, BS, B.Ed, M.Phil, and Ph.D., for the fall 2023-24 admission cycle. The new deadline for online applications is 18th August 2023, with applications being accepted until 04:00 pm on that day. This extension provides prospective students with additional time to complete their applications and submit the necessary documents for consideration.

Test Schedule and Requirements

In addition to the extended application deadline, the Directorate of Academics has also provided details about the aptitude tests and interviews for specific programs. Here are the scheduled dates and requirements for the upcoming tests:

GRE Subject Test for M.Phil. and Ph.D.

For candidates applying to M.Phil. and Ph.D. programs, a GRE Subject Test will be conducted. However, its important to note that the test will be an interview-only format specifically for Ph.D. applicants. The scheduled date for the GRE Subject Test and Ph.D. interview is 21st August 2023. The timings for the test are 09:30 AM and 02:30 PM.

Aptitude Test for BS Fashion Design

Prospective students interested in the BS Fashion Design program are required to take an aptitude test. The test is scheduled for 21st August 2023 and will begin at 09:00 AM. Aspiring fashion designers should come prepared with the following materials:

• Pencil

• Eraser

• Sharpener

• Drawing Board

• Scholar Sheet

Aptitude Test for BS Fine Art and BS in Graphic Design

Students aiming for admission to the BS Fine Art and BS in Graphic Design programs will undergo an aptitude test on 21st August 2023. The test will commence at 10:00 AM. To ensure a smooth testing experience, candidates should bring the following materials:

• Chart paper

• Pencil, rubber, sharpener

• Glue, gum stick

• Scissors

• Glazed Paper Colored 3 to 4

• Scale, ruler

• Ball Point
