Programs Offered

    Post-RN 2 Years Program
        Designed for registered nurses looking to advance their qualifications.
        Approved by the Pakistan Nursing and Midwifery Council.

    BSN Bachelor of Science in Nursing - 4 Years Program
        A comprehensive program aimed at equipping students with the skills required for professional nursing practice.
        Approved by the Pakistan Nursing and Midwifery Council.

    Lady Health Visitor LHV - 2 Years Program
        Focuses on community health and preventive care.
        Approved by the Pakistan Nursing and Midwifery Council.

    Diploma in Midwifery 1 Year Program
        Prepares students for roles in maternal and neonatal care.
        Approved by the Pakistan Nursing and Midwifery Council.

    Diploma in Nursing RN Diploma
        Includes Midwifery Diploma or any post-basic specialty for males in lieu of midwifery.
        Candidates must hold current/valid registration/license from the Pakistan Nursing and Midwifery Council.

Eligibility Criteria

    Post-RN and LHV Programs: Applicants must have a Diploma in General Nursing or BSN with valid Pakistan Nursing Council registration.
    BSN Program:
        HSSC Pre-Medical group with at least 50% marks or equivalent.
        Secondary School Certificate SSC / O-Level in Science group with Biology.
    Diploma in Midwifery: Candidates must be registered with the Pakistan Nursing and Midwifery Council.
    Age Limit: Applicants should be between 16 and 35 years old.

Admission Schedule

    Application Availability: From 19th August 2024
    Application Deadline: 18th September 2024
    Entry Test for BSN: 21st September 2024
    Entry Test for Post-RN, LHV, and Midwifery: 23rd September 2024

Clinical Training and Internship

The Farkhanda Institute of Nursing & Public Health is affiliated with Naseer Teaching Hospital, ensuring students receive high-quality hands-on clinical training. An internship facility is also available for all BSN students, providing them with practical exposure and experience in real-world healthcare settings.
