Free MDCAT & ECAT Preparation Offered at 90 Government Colleges in Punjab

Higher Education Department of the Government of Punjab has announced a new initiative aimed at assisting students in preparing for the Medical and Engineering College Admission Tests MDCAT and ECAT without financial burden. This initiative will be implemented across 90 government colleges in the Punjab region. Program Overview

•          Duration: The program will run for a duration of 10 weeks.

•          Trainer Allocation: Each of the 90 selected colleges will have five subject specialist trainers.

•          Financial Allocation: Trainers will be compensated with PKR 100,000 for the 10-week program.

•          Total Budget: The total budget for the program is estimated to be 4.5 Crores PKR, covering the engagement of 450 trainers across the 90 colleges.

Funding Source

The funds for this initiative will be drawn from various sources within each college, including allocations from Lab/Library Security Funds, Fine Funds, and General Funds.

Preparation Infrastructure

To ensure effective preparation, well-equipped classrooms with ample seating capacity and appropriate teaching aids such as whiteboards, projectors, and audiovisual equipment will be provided across all participating colleges.
