FPSC CSS 2024 Exam Results Expected Date Announced

Federal Public Service Commission FPSC has confirmed that the results for the Central Superior Services FPSC CSS 2024 exams will be released in the final week of April. This announcement was made by FPSC Chairman Lieutenant General retd Akhtar Nawaz Satti during a hearing at the Islamabad High Court IHC on Tuesday. The case, presided over by Justice Mohsin Akhtar Kiyani, was filed by a petitioner seeking a delay in the upcoming FPSC CSS 2025 exams. Legal Petition Seeks Postponement of CSS 2025 Exams

The petition was submitted by Hamza Javed, who, along with his legal representative Advocate Ali Raza, appeared in court to argue for a stay on the CSS 2025 examination schedule. Many candidates have voiced their concerns, citing the overlap between the exam dates and the delayed results of CSS 2024. With the FPSC confirming that the 2025 exams will begin on February 15, candidates argue that the uncertainty regarding their previous results has put them under undue pressure.

Student Concerns Over Examination Scheduling and Preparation Time

The late announcement of CSS 2024 results has left students struggling with limited preparation time for the upcoming examinations. During the court proceedings, the FPSC chairman asserted that postponing the CSS 2025 exams was not necessary as candidates would still have other opportunities. He noted that one of the petitioners had already exhausted their attempts and was not directly affected by the timeline of the results. Furthermore, the FPSC has completed logistical preparations for the exams, with 88 examination halls booked across the country and all necessary materials dispatched.

Court Reserves Decision on CSS Exam Postponement

Additional Attorney General Dougal stated that the FPSC is legally allowed to conduct the next round of exams even if previous FPSC CSS 2024 exam results remain pending. He further emphasized that delaying the exams could create issues related to confidentiality. As the legal debate continues, the Islamabad High Court has reserved its judgment on whether the CSS 2025 exams should proceed as scheduled or be postponed until the 2024 results are formally released.
