FDE Eid Holidays and Spring Break for Islamabad Schools and Colleges
Federal Directorate of Education has officially announced the schedule for Eid holidays and the spring break for all educational institutions under its administration. The students and the teaching staff will note the complete updates that FDE Declares Eid Holidays and Spring Break for Islamabad Schools and Colleges.
Holiday Schedule for Schools and Colleges
As per an official notification released on March 19, 2025, all schools and colleges in Islamabad, including both urban and rural areas, will remain closed from March 31 to April 4, 2025. The academic calendar has been structured to resume the new session from April 7, 2025.
Implementation of the Holiday Notification
The issued directive was circulated to the heads of all institutions under FDE’s supervision, instructing them to enforce the prescribed holiday schedule. The notification was formally approved by the Director General of FDE.
Institutions Covered Under FDE
This announcement applies to all educational institutions operating under the FDE, including Islamabad Model Schools, Colleges, and Ex-Federal Government Colleges for both boys and girls.
Break for Eid Festivities and Academic Transition
The holiday schedule ensures that students and teachers can celebrate Eid without academic interruptions while preparing for the commencement of a new academic term.
