Extended Spring Break in KPK Schools
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has decided to prolong the spring break to encompass the Eid holidays. Consequently, educational institutions in the region will resume classes on April 15th. The students can get the latest updates regarding Extended Spring Break in KPK Schools. The Elementary and Higher Education Department has issued official notifications, instructing both government and private schools to observe Eid holidays and remain closed until April 13th Saturday.
Postponement of New Academic Sessions
Due to the extended holidays, the commencement of new academic sessions has been postponed. This delay is attributed to the delayed provision of free textbooks by the provincial government. The untimely extension of the spring recess is primarily caused by the non-availability of free textbooks, hindering the scheduled start of the new academic year.
Previous Vacation Announcements
Previously, the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government had declared spring vacations for all public and private educational institutions across the province from April 1st to April 8th. During the vacation period, all principals, head teachers, and clerical staff were directed to remain present to oversee the distribution of free textbooks and ensure the smooth progress of the admission process for new students.
